Few weeks ago, I got a task from my teacher to teach my friends. For me, it's a unforgettable moment. Because there are a lot of things that I can learn.
After doing that, I realized that being a teacher is not as easy as I think. Because, there are lot of things that have to be prepared before teaching. Like, the material, teaching method and mental.
In that time, we got a task to teach history lesson from eleven and twelve grade. Me and my partner, Melisa Tania, pick a lesson about Majapahit Kingdom for out lesson material.
In our class, we have our own rules. Students have to be active in the class. And the most active student in our class will get a reward from us.
Our lesson method is playing drama while teaching. In that drama we also ask other students to help us doing that drama. That drama us usr by us to our opening material. Because, if we do drama all the time, the class will be boring. Next , we do our lesson by show the student a presentation slide.
Fortunately, we got a positive respond from our students. They enjoy our lesson. Almost of them active in our class. Even some of them don't give attention to our lesson.
It's a challenge for us to make them interest to our lesson by asking them to answer our question, warn them and many other way.
In the end of lesson, after finished our material, we announce who is the most active student of the day. Followed by giving some reward like things or extra scores for their exam score.
And the last, we will give them a task. So, when home they will review the lesson that we have given.
The lesson that we have got is we have to respect everyone that talking in front of us. Because talking in front of people is not easy.
